Kya theek hai ? ya Kyon theek hai ?

Well i started this blog on insistence from one of my friend and colleague, I liked the title too, thats another reason :P
It has been an allegation for long that I use the phrase 'theek hai' a lot in my conversations, be it asking a question - Theek hai ?? or agreeing to something theek hai. or finally letting someone get away THEEK HAI mere bhai!!!

And in my defense I would like to state that this is a very commonly used phrase!!Theek hai ??!!

From students outside exam halls - Paper kaisa tha ? Ans: Theek tha , a question to your friendly watchman, or sabjiwala - Kaisa hai Ramlal? Ans: Theek hai sahab (Mumbaiyya hindi Disclaimers), Dhanda Paani kaisa hai Ans: Theek hai.

See its not only me!! Its probably one of the most used phrases all around the town.

In my opinion its not just a phrase I use, but a mindset of a lot of people. Might be an optimistic or a sedated approach to life - Theek hai (Ya sure) or Theek hai (ab kya kar sakte hai).
